@ JackOLantern -- see my post above. There is a large men's shelter on Gude just east of Crabbs Branch. A station near that shelter and the quite large office park cluster at Gude and Crabbs Branch would serve a lot of people and would seem to comport with the purpose of the grant (serving the poor or whatever).

That location is also halfway between Shady Grove and Rockville metros; it's 2 miles to each in opposite directions. It's also right on the "Millennium Trail". Seems like a very likely station location to me.
