As a native of Portland I have always dreamed that mcMenamins (http://mcmenamins.com/) would open in DC. This is exactly the type of property they thrive at converting. While obviously it is a long shot for them to come, surely someone can operate along the same model. Good restoration, good beer, decent food, and movies/other entertainment.
