@ movement: only 10 miles from DC

2.7 says Google. But that's only because the closest bridge is that far away. Geographically, Potomac Yards borders on DC, since it's on the banks of the Potomac. And remember that the DC/VA line is that the high water mark. So the station would be mere yards away from DC.
