Lost power promptly at 10:30pm on Friday night in Pimmit Hills (btwn tysons and falls church). I thought it was a local issue, until we called friends Saturday AM - no power in Arlington, NW, Takoma Park. So we shut up the house, let our ice cream melt :(, and joined the mass exodus up I-270 to go to the in-laws/parents in Harrisburg PA (which had plenty of electricity).

It was pretty crazy Saturday AM - people were blowing through dark traffic signals on route 7 and surrounding arterials near Tysons.

Our part of the neighborhood got power earlier yesterday afternoon so we came back home. Some parts of Pimmit Hills are still without power though, and same with friends near the Vienna metro.
