This is an example of a sidewalk DC has no control over, but the sidewalk immediately adjacent to the Thurgood Marshall building on Massachusetts Ave. NE. The feds recently repaved it but they still kept it too narrow. At rush hour a lot of people end up walking in the mulch and the grass because there's only room for two people.

My other gripe on the sidewalk front are the tiny islands for pedestrian crossings at various circles. Dupont Circle, Washington Circle are among the worst. People have to stand in the street sometimes because there's not enough room.
