Great article, Dan. Couldn't agree more. Ellsworth Dr is the perfect example of a street that should (and could) have much wider, fully connected sidewalks and bike paths leading into downtown Silver Spring. Throw in some speed humps and chicanes and we would have a street that is more inviting for pedestrians and still allows cars to travel through.
