While I agree that other specific constituencies could, or should have been included, I am not yet ready to criticize the Mayor or this panel. The fact is, he did go outside the box in developing this plan, which is good. Could he have gone further outside of the box? Probably. But I am not there yet in thinking that there should have been 100 stakeholder meetings around the city to formulate the plan. At some point, leadership needs to lead, and in this case, I think it has. We all have a chance to provide input when we go to the ballot box.
