Managing the height limit changes in the works so they don’t create more density in western DC while encouraging nodes of development in the east would help as would familiarizing people with the eastern part of the city. Most people in the region know little about places like Anacostia unless they have reasons to be there. This article told me more than I’ve ever known and I’ve leaved in this region nearly 50 years.
