You should have seen it back in 03 or 04 when ING Direct paid for wmata to give free rides for a weekend the system was packed like hell; they were probably near capacity that weekend. I remember riding the train to just see where it went and went to every stop I'd never been too.

I remember Union Station was packed for the fare machines all the way to the platform, the platform stretched end to end was packed.
