@BrianTH: How do you decide how much local, state or federal funding a project gets then? For example, I could care less about a one-lane road in Montana that connects two farms. Should that get the same share of money from me as Connecticut Avenue pedestrian safety improvements? What about an I-95 project in Maryland?
