Greater Greater Washington. The Washington, DC area is great. But it could be greater.

Wonder Woman endorses streetcars for DC

There are a lot of choices for DC mayor, but one stands (or flies) above the rest: Wonder Woman. Why? She supports building a comprehensive network of streetcars in the District of Columbia.

Wonder Woman is one of eight superheroes in the New Organizing Institute competition, which trains young political organizers to use email lists, blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other new media for political campaigns. Regular citizens (like you) can vote for your favorite on Friday.

In addition to Wonder Woman, Superman would make mass transit stronger than steel, and Spiderman realizes that with great power comes great responsibility to make Metro run all night.

How did I miss that joke. Jealous!

by Steve on Jul 8, 2009 7:56 pm  (link)

@Reid: We would have to REALLY rely on the NextTrolley system!

They just shut down NextTrolley system as soon as you mentioned it online.

The first rule of NextTrolley? There is no NextTrolley.
