National Christmas Tree

Comments

It's been said before, but the "National" Christmas tree is the most butt-ugly discrace for a tree in the area.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the above commentator. They should shape it nicer or something. It's just... plain and mishapen and "butt-ugly."

People have been calling the National Christmas Tree the ugliest tree since as long as I have been living here, which is my whole life. Although I do not see any paper plates on it this year in the picture above, it truly is unfortunate that some human being thinks that this is a respectable display to be referred to as OUR National Christmas Tree and placed on public property.

Well, the thing is that the National Xmas Tree is a living tree, not one that's chopped down every year for a temporary exhibition. It's a lot harder to maintain that idyllic shape and still keep the tree alive. Probably because most trees in nature don't have that actual shape.

That said, I don't disagree. It's not a pretty tree.
