Cheap windshield perspective shot: A Ride On bus driver crashed into a KFC in Silver Spring yesterday morning.

I'm sure the KFC was walking around like headless chicken not paying attention to the bus. What else do buses have to do to be noticed? They have flashy thingies on top, they have spoken warnings, and still people crash into the bus. Sigh.

"Bus protects passengers" <- NOT TRUE: there were only four people on the bus at the time, to of which went to the hospital.

I get a kick out of the back-bending this blog does sometimes to promote its message, but this has the be the best ever. A bus crashes into a building sending half the riders to the hospital and GGW says, "Bus protects passengers." Congrats. You are now the Onion.

Bus fatality rates are way better than cars. Mostly because buses are usually travelling slowly. Injury rates are about the same as cars - because when the bus does crash, everyone goes flying.
