@ Dan Reed

Now take the next step; tell someone your idea that can possibly make it happen.

Infrastructure can only go so far in attracting jobs. Skilled work forces and their employers tend to go together. OTOH, there are other potential partners---DoD continues to lease space for its various entities despite the new WRAIR campus in Forest Glen. NIH has farflung intramural facilities including some in Baltimore. These might bring together enough basic and clinical science people that govt contractors and private sector firms might come, too. Moreover, it would help draw a residential base that wouldn't come without proximity to work. Another target might be GW which has data analytic resources and other reseach components in Rockville.

USG is a teaching institution and of limited value to the Great Seneca area. Hopkins is a bigger factor.

seems like you can draw some parallels between this and what's being attempted at st. e's in the district.

It's going to take alot for east county to compete for biotech companies and jobs especially when twinbrook and the "science city" begin to redevelop. Only way i see sparking massive redevelopment is to make a certain area like percontee site a enterprise zone. With tax credits or something like that
