Amazing LEGO bridge

Artist Martin "Megx" Heuwold painted this bridge in Wuppertal, Germany to look like it's made of LEGO bricks. It's pretty realistic-looking (except LEGO bricks are not nearly that size!)

Fantastic. It would have been even more impressive if it had looked like it was made of real-sized legos.

Very cool, though I imagine distracted drivers will cause an accident or three.

Those aren't the pieces I would have used. What about the 16x2 or the Technics beams? Those 4x2s will never hold up to rain and ice.

Too cool -- I like it! This almost looks like the design of the Metrorail viaduct above King St, the Beltway near Huntington & Dunn Loring, and Rhode Island Ave.

Thanks for sharing.

Cute! My friend's father works for PennDOT in their bridge department. One of the perks of his job is that they rotate turns for who gets to decide what color bridge supports are painted. He painted a bridge purple for her when she was a kid, and she's driven me by this bridge to show it off. I love it when transit folks have a little fun with their work.

Clark, those are clearly 3x2s! Do you need a refresher course?! :)
