Councilmember Kwame Brown.

Next Tuesday at 2 pm, Greater Greater Washington will host our third live guest. Kwame Brown is DC Councilmember at-large and Chair of the Council’s Committee on Economic Development. As a Councilmember, Mr. Brown authored legislation that led to the creation of the Department of Small and Local Business Development, an agency focused on growing local businesses. His oversight of the city’s economic development got him headlines recently around the Southwest Waterfront project’s delays and the Tenley-Janney PPP, and we covered the controversial parking practices of his campaign van.

Please tune in live on Tuesday at 2 pm when Mr. Brown will take your questions. If aren’t available then, feel free to leave your questions in the comments and we’ll select some for the discussion.

Michael Perkins blogs about Metro operations and fares, performance parking, and any other government and economics information he finds on the Web. He lives with his wife and two children in Arlington, Virginia.
