Chuck Brown Park breaks ground: The Chuck Brown Memorial Park won't include the originally-planned 900-seat music venue, but construction has begun on the go-go godfather's memorial in Langdon Park. (City Paper)
Patent troll shut down: A company that had sued transit agencies over providing arrival time information settled with the American Public Transit Association, agreeing not to file any more patent infringement claims against APTA members. (Streetsblog)
Affordable housing goes downtown: The developer of City Center is now accepting applications for the 92 affordable units at the complex. As far as we know, there will not be a separate entrance for the income-restricted units. (PoPville)
More mixed-use coming to Rosslyn: The developer behind the region's tallest office building has just filed for approvals of two new mixed-use buildings on nearby sites. The new towers would replace two 1960s office buildings. (WBJ)
