This weekend, I’m getting married. I’ll also be lightening up my work on Greater Greater Washington starting today, to devote time to getting ready for the wedding. We’ll be away on our honeymoon (in Curaçao) for a week, then light posting through the end of the following week.

In the meantime, however, you should be well entertained. Your intrepid team of contributors has graciously agreed to help fill in. Jaime will be our guest editor to keep an eye on things. Cavan, Stephen and Steve have already written many excellent posts, and they and others will contribute more. I’ve pre-loaded some posts as well.

Joey Katzen will be doing the links periodically; please help him out by submitting tips. Kent will continue to provide his excellent historic perspectives. Finally, we’ll continue posting some of Sarah Goodyear’s Streetsblog Network roundups and Elana Schor’s national transportation coverage. They’ll be helping to fill the space while I’m away. Enjoy, and when I return we’ll discuss how often to continue posting those on an ongoing basis.
