The DC Department of Motor Vehicles has an online practice test that anyone can take. It’s a great way to test how well you know the rules of the road.

I first heard about the test from WAMU’s Martin Austermuhle on Twitter:

For people who drive often, it’s easy to assume they know the rules. But it’s actually pretty common for people to be confused, or even not know the rules outright. I wonder how well people would do on the test if they had to retake it every year.

Go take the test and let everyone know how you did in the comments!
