Paul Wiedefeld, the new head of WMATA, is open to listening to riders, workers, elected officials, and everyone else about what it’ll take to fix Metro. He’s also open to talking, and has agreed to speak with our readers on Tuesday, December 15. What do you want to ask him?

Wiedefeld will be joining for the next in our series of live chats. For an example of a recent one, see our conversation with Leif Dormsjo, DC’s transportation director.

A crack team of Greater Greater Washington volunteer typists will go to WMATA HQ with me. I’ll interview Wiedefeld verbally, and they’ll very quickly type in what he says for you to read live.

I want to ask him the questions that are on your mind. What do you want to ask? You can post your questions in the comments and tweet them with the hashtag #ggwchat. During the chat itself, you’ll also be able to submit questions on the chat system and tweet them live. I’ll try to get as many in as I can.

David Alpert created Greater Greater Washington in 2008 and was its executive director until 2020. He formerly worked in tech and has lived in the Boston, San Francisco Bay, and New York metro areas in addition to Washington, DC. He lives with his wife and two children in Dupont Circle.
