Don’t let the warm weather slow you down! Speak up about making Ward 4 a better place to live, take a tour of the Navy Yard neighborhood, test out much transit trivia you know, and learn about DC’s plans for managing rail infrastructure.

A better Ward 4: How could Ward 4, which includes Petworth, Crestwood, Brightwood, and 16th Street Heights, be a better place to live? The District’s Department of Transportation wants to know, and is holding its second public meeting on the matter this Thursday, June 2, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at 801 Shepherd St NW. There, you can share your opinions on transportation, green infrastructure, and sustainability in the area.

Transit trivia: Do you like transit and trivia? Head over to a trivia night to see just how wonky your transit knowledge is. It’s on Tuesday, June 7, at RFD Washington (810 7th Street NW) at 6:30 pm, and hosted by the Eno Center for Transportation and Young Professionals in Transportation. Light appetizers will be provided and prizes will also go to teams with the best names.

Head over to the second and final public meeting next Tuesday, June 7, at 6 pm at 225 7th Street SE to share your thoughts on the vision for the future of DC’s rail infrastructure.
