Volkswagen made a Berlin U-bahn station a lot of fun:

Wouldn't it be great if US car companies did marketing stunts involving making subway stations more fun? And wouldn't it be great if US companies weren't so nervous about liability that they could actually get such an idea past their legal department?

Rosslyn needs a split platform. But Baltimore's Charles Center is perfect for this. Someone call VW America and get a pilot program started!

LOVE this campaign! Saw it when I studied abroad in Denmark last fall, too, such fun stuff. Would love to see them bring that to D.C.

What about Union Station? That'd get alot of commuters down to the platform past all those people going down the escalators near Gate A

Why is the US lawsuit crazy? Because there's no universal healthcare coverage, and a generally impoverished social safety net in general. Unless the state is going to serve as a backstop, somebody's got to pay. I'm routinely shocked that your average "tort reform" bozo can't grasp this simple fact.
