(Your bulb-out to bus stop link is 404'd) If memory serves, the reconstruction of 18th between Mass Ave and Florida was delayed so that construction could coincide with a similar reconstruction of 18th above Florida Ave- up to Columbia Rd. And I know i'm switching ANC's here, but whatever happened to the plans for Adams Morgan (18th st included)? http://ddot.dc.gov/ddot/cwp/view,a,1249,q,636709.asp They commissioned a rather good analysis that made a number of good recommendations, and then DDOT seemed to just never start the project.
