DDOT (wearing their Dr. Jekyll face) will be adding bike lanes in Petworth, northbound on 7th Street to Sherman Circle and southbound on 5th from Grant Circle, according to Mayor’s Ward 4 liaison Joseph Martin. These will connect to the existing lanes south of Rock Creek Church Road (on Warder and Park) that reach as far south as Kenyon and Irving. The 5th Street bike lane will also mean removing a lane of traffic, which doesn’t bother posters on the Petworth neighborhood list.
