Metro Reasons: More trains bring more riders to the Red Line
More people began riding the Red Line after Metro eliminated the Grosvenor turnback and doubled service at White Flint, Twinbrook, Rockville, and Shady Grove Metrorail stations. Far too many people die in traffic crashes in Montgomery County. That must stop.
Devika Gunasekere, age 67, was killed on January 5, 2016. The Rockville resident was on her way to work at a child development center on a clear, sunny morning in Bethesda.
